Thatcher Allen is in his first year as assistant coach at Morehead State, in charge of the Eagle running backs.

He came to MSU following two years as offensive quality control coach at American International University in Springfield, Mass. In 2024, he also served as assistant offensive line coach.

Allen was a student-athlete for Springfield (Mass.) College's football program, playing outside linebacker for three seasons.

He was the 2020 Joe Yukica Scholar-Athlete Award Recipient and was on the Dean's List for seven semesters at Springfield.

Allen earned his bachelor's degree at Springfield in 2024.
