Ben Couture

Ben Couture enters his first season as Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Morehead State. 

Couture most recently served as Marketing & Community Engagement Manager and Camp Coach for Scotty Pippen Jr.’s Basketball Camp in 2025, following his role as Executive Director of Enes Kanter’s Basketball Camps in 2021. 

He also gained experience as a college basketball data scout with Sports Info Solutions, covering Vanderbilt men’s basketball during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons. His work included the SEC Men’s Tournaments in 2024 and 2025, along with the 2024 NCAA Men’s National Tournament. 

From 2020–22, Couture was an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Great Bay Community College (N.H.), where the program reached the YSCC Tournament semifinals, achieved a national top-15 ranking in USCAA Division II, and set program records for most overall wins, most conference wins, and longest win streak. 

Couture began his coaching career in 2018 as a student manager for the University of New Hampshire men’s basketball program, where he was promoted to head student manager in 2019. 

He has also served as a Camp Coach with the Michigan State, Vanderbilt, and Dayton men’s basketball programs. 

A native of Berwick, Maine, Couture earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration and his Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Global Business and Growth & Innovation from the University of New Hampshire.
