Morehead State University Athletics

Eagle Excellence Fund

Morehead State has been raising private funds for athletics since the inception of the Eagle Athletic Scholarship Fund in 1979. Since then, we’ve seen a lot of changes in our athletic program and our University.

Today, the Eagle Excellence Fund is the vehicle to support our student athletes.
By becoming a member in the Eagle Excellence Fund, you can be more than just a fan by providing the financial support that is essential to our efforts in academic excellence, Ohio Valley Conference and Pioneer Football League championships, and NCAA postseason play. And, based on the level of your tax-deductible annual gift, priority seating is available in Johnson Arena and you can qualify to be early in line for any post season ticket opportunity!

The cost of higher education in Kentucky and nationwide continues to increase at rates many of us could not have imagined even 10 years ago. Competitive, championship-level athletic programs also have fiscal demands, and that’s why we need your help more than ever. Annual giving and your help in achieving our mutual goals can become the lifeblood of our program.

Giving to the Eagle Excellence Fund has recently allowed us to:
--Provide funding for summer school and exhausted-eligibility student-athletes
--Partially or fully renovate team locker rooms
--Provide more technical support and equipment in our academic lab
--Provide furniture and carpeting for coaches and administration offices
--Refinish and repaint the Johnson Arena competition floor
--Improve or replace equipment in the sports medicine center and all athletic weight training rooms
--Provide equipment and recruiting funds for all athletic programs

Make a commitment today to join the team and support the Eagle Excellence Fund! For more
