Bnei Herzliya of Ligat HaAl, the top division of Israeli basketball, announced that they have signed former Morehead State Eagle Karam Mashour.
Mashour spent his junior and senior seasons at Morehead State after transferring from UNLV. He played just five minutes his junior season after suffering a season-ending injury against Wright State. As a senior, he was just one of two players to play in all 34 games, starting 27. He led the team in rebounding with 5.9 per-game and ranked third with 10.9 points. He had five double-doubles on the year and finished his career with 10 straight double-digit scoring games. Â He helped lead the Eagles to the semifinals of the OVC Tournament.
A native of Nazareth, Israel, Mashour will be playing professionally in his home country.Â
He is scheduled to report to Bnei Herzliya on September 1 to begin practice.
