Morehead State Football to Host Coaches Clinic on Saturday

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- The Morehead State athletic department and football coaching staff will host the 2013 Steele Harmon Fellowship of Christian Athletes Clinic on Saturday at the EAGLE Center.

All Eagle coaches will be on hand for the event, which is scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.  The EAGLE Center is located across from Jayne Stadium on the east end of MSU’s campus.

Breakfast and coffee begin at 8 a.m.  Breakfast is sponsored by the Morehead Huddle House, while coffee is sponsored by Morehead State Head Coach Rob Tenyer and his coaching staff.

The event will feature several high school and college football coaches from the eastern part of the state.  University of Kentucky Offensive Coordinator Neal Brown will speak from 9 until 10 a.m.

Lunch, sponsored by the Morehead Wal-Mart and Buffalo Wild Wings, is set for Noon to 1 p.m.

Tenyer, Craig Mullins, Phil Burnett, Dontae Wright, Patrick St. Louis, Rod West and Andre Woodson will represent the Eagles by hosting breakout sessions on various topics from 1 until 2 p.m.

Morehead State Assistant Coaches Brett Rude, Andrew Doan, Matt Forrest and Wes McDermott will also be on hand to discuss position specific drills during the 1 o’clock hour.

Admission, at the door, is $30 per person or $100 for a staff of four.  The clinic is designed for youth, high school and college football coaches, but is open to the general public.
