PUTTING POINTS ON THE BOARD
Morehead State is averaging a Pioneer Football League-best 36.0 points in 2012.  The Eagles also have more touchdowns (9) and extra-points (9) than any other conference foe.

THE PFL’S NO. 1 PASSING ATTACK
Morehead State leads the Pioneer Football League with 342 passing yards per game this season, a 72-percent completion rate and seven touchdowns via the aerial attack.

LET’S TALK ABOUT TOTAL YARDS
Morehead State ranks first in the Pioneer Football League with 7.7 yards per play this year and second with 406.0 yards per contest.  MSU has 122 more passing attempts than any other PFL team.

NOW, HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Morehead State places second in the Pioneer Football League with 406.0 yards per contest, despite being last with an average of just 17 minutes and 28 seconds in time of possession.

LOOKING AT THE RECORD BOOK
Senior quarterback Zach Lewis, who has completed 714-of-1,161 attempts for 7,839 yards and 53 touchdowns in 31 games, is on pace to break multiple Morehead State career records.  He needs just 61 completions, 247 attempts, 1,190 yards and three TD tosses to pass Chris Swartz, who quarterbacked the Eagles from 1987-90.

SPREADING THE WEALTH
Morehead State has had 14 different individuals catch a pass through two games this season.  Donte Sawyer leads the team in receptions (13) and yards (151), while Kevin Thomas is the only Eagle to pull in two TD catches.

FLYING TO THE BALL
Morehead State has had 31 different players make a tackle in the first two weeks this season.  Sophomore linebacker Jordan Hendrix leads the Pioneer Football League with 14.0 tackles per game, while sophomore linebacker Dillion Blackburn ranks second with 13.0.

MAKING PLAYS ON “D”
Dillion Blackburn finished Saturday’s game at Eastern Kentucky just one tackle shy of the Morehead State record.  He collected 18 stops, including 15 in the first half, while Jordan Hendrix added 17 and junior defensive back John Coleman contributed 11.

THIS GUY CAN SCORE POINTS
Senior Rainer Duzan leads all kickers in the Pioneer Football League with 18 points.  He is 3-of-4 on field-goal attempts this year and 9-of-9 on extra-point tries.

SHOOTING FOR 100TH WIN
Head Coach Matt Ballard will shoot for his 100th win at Morehead State when the Eagles host St. Francis (Pa.) on Saturday.  Ballard is 99-99 (.500) in his 19th season at MSU and 134-124-1 (.519) in 25 years as a collegiate head coach.
