MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State sophomore Michael Jackson has been named the Pioneer Football League’s Defensive Back of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards.
Jackson, a native of Cincinnati, collected five tackles last Saturday against Jacksonville. He also returned a fumble 46 yards for his first career touchdown and tallied two sacks for 14 yards.
Jackson has registered 30 tackles, three sacks, one fumble recovery and one interception in 2012.
