MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Morehead State junior Rainer Duzan has been named to the College Football Performance Awards Preaseason Punter Watch List, just a week after being tabbed on the web site's watch list for placekickers as well.
Handling nearly 100 percent of the punting duties last year, Duzan averaged 38.4 yeards per boot and landed 18 inside the 20-yard line. He had five kicks of more than 50 yards, including a 64-yard smash.
He was named to the PFL Honor Roll and was tabbed Second-Team PFL All-Academic.
The College Football Performance Awards' had 40 players listed on the preseason watch list for punters. The CFPA's also have watch lists for all other positions and award weekly and postseason positional honors during the season.
