MSU head coach
Warren Lipka speaks about his team’s first half performance and their second half improvements.
“We just haven’t found a combo in the middle that works yet. Losing [[Lindsay] Stefanini, [Bethany] Davidson and {lauren] Seebach to graduation was a greater loss than we anticipated. Their leadership and composure hasn’t been replaced yet,” said Lipka. “We made adjustments in the second half and did much better, but it was too little to late. We are working to find the right mix and we will put this one in the books and work to get better.”
The loss drops the Eagles’ record to 0-3-0 on the season. Toledo improves to 2-1-0. Morehead State travels to Akron on Sunday to battle the Zips at Lee Jackson Field kick-off is slated for 1 p.m.
