RICHMOND, Ky.—Morehead State women’s golf shot a round-best 300, equaling its second round score to finish with a 905 and cruise to a four-stroke victory at the EKU Lady Colonel Classic Sunday. Two Eagle golfers,

Murray State (5th-924); host Eastern Kentucky (6th-931), Austin Peay (7th-933) and SIU Edwardsville (13th-977) were the other Ohio Valley Conference programs at the event. The Eagles, who have played head-to-head against OVC teams 17 times this season, have not finished below any of their league brethren.
Morehead State will take a week off before travelling to White Bluff, Tenn. for the OVC Championship, which begins on April 21.
