MOREHEAD, Ky. - Morehead State reshirt senior Greg Anderson and junior Madeleinne Antero were voted as two of the OVC's top 20 tennis players in the preseason poll conducted by the league's head coaches. The league also announced today the preseason team rankings where MSU's men were listed fifth and the women were ranked eighth.

Anderson was selected as the league's second best men's player in the poll. He was named First-Team All-OVC last season, posted an 8-1 singles record against OVC foes last spring. He is already 3-0 in singles and doubles action this spring.

Antero, who was picked as the ninth rated player in the poll, played number one singles for the Eagles last year. She was 10-11 overall in singles and 5-4 in OVC singles matches.

The Eagle men qualified for the OVC tournament last season, finishing in fifth place while the women just narrowly missed the tournament in seventh place. They lost three of the OVC matches by 4-3 scores.

Eastern Kentucky was picked to win the men's and women's titles this year while Jacksonville State was voted second in both polls as well.
