Softball Splits at Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Morehead State softball team split a pair of games Sunday at the University of Louisville, defeating Bellarmine 12-8 and dropping a 3-0 game to the host Cardinals.

The Eagle offense produced 18 hits against Bellarmine. Ashley Boyd, Sarah Funston and Kayla Stinson pitched for MSU.

In the Louisville match-up, senior pitcher Alex Gjevre went the distance.
