Tennis Program Volunteers for Gateway Homeless Shelter Fundraiser

MOREHEAD, Ky. - The Morehead State tennis program volunteered their time Tuesday night at the Gateway Homeless Shelter's Steak Dinner Fundraiser. The team members and coaching staff helped prepare the food and then also helped serve food and clean up after the event.

The Gateway Homeless Shelter serves homeless individuals and families in Bath, Carter, Elliott, Fleming, Menifee, Montgomery, Morgan and Rowan counties.

A large crowd came out to support the effort, and there was also a silent auction. Gateway Homeless Shelter’s budget was recently cut by $72,500 and all proceeds went directly to the shelter to assist homeless families.
