Former Eagle Pitcher Named To Arizona Fall League Team

MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Former Morehead State University standout pitcher Henry Mabee has been named to the Chicago White Sox Arizona Fall League team, Peoria Javelinas. Mabee is currently on the Double-A Birmingham Barons roster.
A native of Victoria, B.C., Mabee was 5-3 in 2009 with a 3.30 ERA and nine saves. He began the year at Class-A Winston-Salem before being promoted to Birmingham. In 2008, Mabee posted a 3-1 record with 20 saves and a 2.90 ERA in 55 games played. He spent all of 2008 in Class A, first with the Kannapolis Intimidators before advancing to Winston-Salem. He earned a spot on the South Atlantic League midseason All-Star Team.
A right-handed pitcher, Mabee was a 19th-round draft pick for the Chicago White Sox in June 2007. He played just two seasons at MSU after transferring from Trinidada State Junior College. He posted a 4.31 ERA in two years, leading the Eagles each year.
