Heather Butt Named to CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-District IV Squad

MOREHEAD, Ky. - Morehead State senior women's tennis player Heather Butt has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District IV women's at-large second-team. Butt, a native of Middletown, Ohio, finished her senior season with the MSU women's program as the leader in singles and doubles win. She had a 3.95 overall GPA in accounting as well.
Of the court, Butt was president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and a math tutor.
She was named outstanding sophomore and junior of the year in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Butt also was outstanding senior accounting student.
The Bishop Fenwick High graduate was an Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Medal of Honor recipient for 2005-06 and 06-07 and was on the OVC Honor Roll 2005-08.
