MOREHEAD, Ky. - The Morehead State women's basketball team has a busy weekend ahead as the Eagles are hosting the MSU Invitational on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Eagles battle Lipscomb on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. after WSSU and PC play at 1:30 p.m. The Eagle men will complete a triple-header in Johnson Arena that daywhen they host ULM at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the tournament ends with PC and Lipscomb tipping off at 1 p.m. and the Eagles playing WSSU at 3:30 p.m.

Morehead State will be searching for its first win of the 2009-20 season after losses to SIU Edwardsville and Kentucky. Of the three teams, MSU has only ever faced Lipscomb and that was just once. Freshman Ashar Harris has also been impressive with 9.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. She leads the conference in offensive rebounds at 6.0 per outing.

Presbyterian is 0-2 under second-year head coach Ronny Fisher. Lipscomb is under the direction of long-time head coach Frank Bennett. The Lady Bisons are 1-2. WSSU is 0-2 on the season. The Lady Rams have struggled on offense, averaging just 32.0 points in their first two contests.
