MOREHEAD, Ky. - The Morehead State women's basketball team will host Kentucky State on Saturday, Oct. 31 for an exhibition game tipping off at 5 p.m. in Johnson Arena. The Eagles are the league favorites to win the OVC title this season. For a Halloween "treat", there will be free parking and free admission.

Kentucky State, an NCAA Division II team from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, returns three of its top five scorers from a team that finished 18-10 in 2008-09.

Morehead State is returning 10 letterwinners off the 2008-09 edition that saw MSU capture 17 victories, 11 OVC wins, and lead the nation in three-pointers made and attempted.

Mike Bradbury enters his third season at the controls with assistant Harry Elifson, Valerie King and Tarah Combs all back. Tomeka Brown begins her first season on the staff as assistant coach.
